Duality

As ambitious film enthusiasts we are lucky enough to spend our day-jobs working on Hollywood feature films, getting true inspiration and aspiring to make our own movies and emulate our peers.

DIRECTOR/WRITER – ANDREW TULLOCH

Andrew’s day job in the Visual Effects industry has had him work on titles such as The Dark Knight, Super 8, Hellboy 2, Cloverfield and more recently John Carter. Working on such films has provided him wealth of experiences and understanding of the processes on a major blockbuster film set, and he aims to take that knowledge into his first short film, Duality.

 
 
PRODUCER – SARAH L. SMITH

After a lot of tea-making, work experience placements in television and stints as an extra, Sarah’s first “proper job” was a Visual Effects Production Assistant on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. She has since continued to progress in her career as an established VFX Production Manager having worked on major feature films such as Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Sherlock Holmes and John Carter.

 
 
WRITER – DEANDRA STONE

DeAndra has received a few awards for her writing: Best Coming of Age Script and Best of Fest at the 2011 Love Unlimited Film Festival and Award of Merit at the Winter 2011 Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood. Aside from full-length features, DeAndra has written a musical and a handful of shorts. Duality will be the fourth script she’s had produced. She also works on set mainly in production management but also as a script supervisor.

 
 
EDITOR – JEFF STONE

Not only does he have the best beard on the team, he’s also the best editor. By default, because he’s the only one that does either. In addition to owning and working with The Hobosoul Productions, Jeff works as an assistant editor in feature films. He’s worked on John Carter, The Ward, Where the Wild Things Are, and many others.
